About

I work with archival, lens-based, and photographic materials, as well as weathered visual elements such as posters, to explore how colour, history, and representation shape identity. My practice reflects on the recurrence of events across different times and places, opening space to consider how narratives transform and repeat.

Inspired by Christina Sharpe’s concept of “the singularity” In the Wake: On Blackness and Being, I engage with the histories and identities of Black communities while also addressing stories that extend beyond specific diasporas. Through this lens, I invite viewers into a contemplative dialogue that balances cultural specificity with shared and individual experience.
